Hello everyone! This week has been an awesomely crazy week, I guess I will start from the beginning, I got to start totrain my new companion, his name is Elder Hulme, (it rhymes with fume) He is from Prove Utah, it has been a fun experience to train him, and I feel really humbled for this oppurtunity, his spanish isn`t very good, but he works really hard and has really progressed in the week that we have been able to work together.

Well, I guess I will just start off to say that one things that was really crazy was this week it rained like I have never before seen in my life, it rained so much, like noah`s ark, my companion and I were dying in the rain, everything was soaked, including our scriptures…. My bible is a little bit ruined, but I can still read it, so I guess I shouldn`t complain, but seriously, out of the jmiddle of nowhere, it started to rain cats and dogs, and when I say cats and dogs, I mean lions and wolves, it was crazy! Also, this week, we had an experience that was pretty awesome, I will tell the story like this:

Okay, so it was Saturday night, my companion and I were tired, it was 7:55 PM we still had some time to do some visits, and all of out other appointments fell through, so we didn’t know what to do, then out of the middle of nowhere, I felt the prompting that my companion and I should visit a less active family, who haven`t been in their house the past 50 times that we have checked, So we deciced to go, at first I was like, they probably wont be there, but then the prompting came again, and I knew that I couldn`t deny it, so we went, and we found a less active family, we started teaching them,a nd when they saw my name, they almost had a heart attack, 12 years ago, this family was baptized, by a missionary called Elder Limb, it was pretty interesting, they showed me his photo, and they told me that he looks a lot like me, so he`s probably a long lost relative, but anyways, we started teaching them the atonement, and my companion in his broken Spanish started testifying about how families can be eternal if we apply the atonement, and they starte d listening really attenly, it was pretty powerful, even though the Spanish of my companion isn`t very good, the spirit helped them to understand, and after that I started testifying of the atonement, that they can change, and renew their baptisimal covenant, and the spirit was so astrong, I know that I was sent to this mission for a reason, and now I know a little bit more of the reasons why I am here, after the lessons, both of the less active mothers asked us for a blessing of comfort and counsel, and it was a powerful experience to give these blessings, I really felt the the atonement will work in their lives, they know that they have to change and they are going to do it, also they told us that they have between the two of them 3 kids that need to be baptized, and one of the husbands of the sisters is not a member and also one fo them has two sons who could be ready to go on a mission really soon, one is 20 years old, the other 17 years old, so we are going to work with them, and I am so glad that I listened to that prompting to go and teach them because now we are going to work with them closely and they will be able to progress faster, I will let you know how that all goes soon,

And yeah, that was the highlight of the week, also to see the members praying for my companion to learn Spanish, has been pretty powerful, I kno w that the gift of tongues is real, I have seen it here in this area, in my mission and now in the mission of my companion, he is improveing everyday his Spanish, and I know we will work miracles in the name of the lord, well, that`s about all for this week, thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, Hasta luego, les amo, Elder Limb

Hola everyone, another week has passed by, this week was filled with well, with good things, I`l lgive a brief summary of the happenings of this week. WEll, I`ll start off with one experience, that happened with a less active family. Here is what happended. WE were teachi9ng them about the importance of the atonement, and they really liked the lesson, but they still didn`t feel the desire to go to church this sunday, but what happened was that the father of the family wanted to say something else important, we were about to finish, and he said to his family somethign like this: The atonement has another essential part, the sacrament, that is why we go tot church sundays" it was pretty cool, he hadn`t gone to church in like 5 months, but still knew of teh importance of teh SAcrament and the atonement, we are going to continue to work with this family.

Another experience that happened yesterday, which was also with a less active member named David, DAvid hasnt gone to church ina long time, but we are working with him, and we read the scripture in Mosiah chapter 3

7 And lo, he shall asuffer btemptations, and pain of body, chunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can dsuffer, except it be unto death; for behold, eblood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his fanguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.

And he told us that he had had problems in the week, but that his problems haven`t even caused him a bloody nose, we all laughed when he said this, but it`s true, our problems sometimes don`t even give us a bloody nose, so when we think to complain, we have to remember that Jesus Christ our savior already suffered everything for us, I learned a lot that day.

One more thing that was pretty cool that I learned, was in SAcrament meeting, I received revelation, it was pretty cool. A member who was less active before and who had never before given a talk in SAcrament meeting was giving the talk, and I don`t remember what his theme was, but he said something that was pretty cool, that really helped me that day, he said:

"Answers to our questions come in two forms, direct revelation from God, or through experiences."

I thought about it, and he is right, sometimes we are waiting for a voice, or something like that, but another way that revelation comes is through the experiences that we have, experiences help us to learn and grow. It was a good week. I learned a lot, well, that`s all for this week, thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers,

Well, this week has been pretty good, we taught like 14 lessons I think, and i got to go on divisions with another Elder, I went to work with him in his area for a day, the name of that area is Fovissste. It was pretty fun, we taught some pretty powerful lessons, and one of the experiences that was pretty awesome was that we were teaching an investigator about how she needed to pray, and at first she didnt want to do it, but, then she decided to do it, and it was powerful prayer, she was crying and knew that she was communicating with her heavenly father, she expressed some of the problems that she needs help with in her prayers, and we testified that heavenly father will help her with those problems. In the mission, that has definitely been one of my favorite things, seeing somebody pray for the first time, it just makes me think how grateful we should be for prayer, a lot of times, I know I`m guilty of this, we just say our prayers out of habit, but really, I learned that each time is special, like how it is for investigators praying for the first time, when they really understand what they are doing, they feel the spirt, and it should be the same with us, it was a cool experience Remember the power and gift of prayers

Hola everybody!! This week has been awesome, want to know why?

The answer is general conference, general conference was awesome, it was such a blessing to listen to a prophet and to hear his counsel and to listen to the apostles and the leaders of the church, I know that I learned a lot and I hope that you learned a lot too.

This week, I had an experience that strengthened my testimony in the importance of scripture mastery. I am now glad that I put to memory these scriptures, because they came to my mind in an instant and I was able to share them with an investigator to answer his questions. the investigar was someone that we contacted a week ago, and we just had the appointment with him Friday. he read the pamphlet on the restoration and had a lot of doubts about how it was possible that Joseph Smith saw god and Jesus Christ and that they were in the form of men, because he thought that they were infinitely in physical form or something like that, so I sat there listening to him, and what came to my mind was a scripture mastery scripture, Genesis 1:26-27, which basically says that God created man in his image. This helped him a little bit, but he still had some doubts, he asked how it was possible for man to see god, because he said "Noah, Abraham, and all the other prophets of the old testament never saw god, so why Joseph smith" Then, another scripture mastery came to my mind Exodus 33:11 when it says that God spoke with Moses, face to face, I explained that what happened to Moses happened to Joseph smith as well, and told himi that it was the same thing as a conversation, like the lesson we were having with him in that moment. He said that we answered his question and that he didn`t have doubts about that anymore, but......that`snot the end of the story, we kept on teaching him, and we got to the part of the book of mormon, and who would have guessed it, but we showed him another scripture mastery scripture, Moroni 10:3-5, and he loved it so much! He told us that that was something that he had never thougth of before, that he could know the truth for himself, and not just because a missionary tells him, or a preacher, or anyone else, he is so excited to learn more, we will see him this friday, unfortunately, he was unable to come to general conference, but he told us he would watch it online. And yeah, that is the story, I know that scripture mastery scriptures are inspired, study them, they will help you, I`m glad I put those scriptures to my memory, because I needed them, and the Holy Ghost helped me to remember the location of these passages of Scripture when I needed them, it was pretty cool.

The conference was the best thing ever, we had 4 investigators there with us, and they loved it, I`m really hoping that we will be able to put a baptisimal date4 with them and help them to be baptized, I`ll let you know how it goes. Things are looking good here in Reforma, time is flying by, this week, I completed 9 months in the mission! I can`t believe it, but I am working on enjoying every second of the mission, even the trials and tribulations, because I have had those, but I have learned so much and my testimony has been strengthened, I love being a missionary, I know the church is true, i know that President Thomas S Monson is a prophet of God and that he leads and guides the church today, and most importantly, I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that he is my savior, I felt a witness of this testimony in the conference, and I hope that you guys felt that as well, reread and study the conference talks, do all you can to apply these teachings, this is my testimony that I leave with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Hasta Luego, thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, it really means a lot to me, I`m thankful for each and every one of you in my life, and the example that you show me. Gracias, I hope to hear from you soon. Happy week this week :)

Hello everyone!

This week, was pretty awesome, in sacrament meeting there were 3 confirmations, I had the privelage to confirm Juanita a member of the church, it was pretty awesome!! Also, me and my new com panion are working really hard, there have been lots of miracles tha we have seen this week when we have been in the right place at the right time, to contact someone right when they were about to leave, it has been pretty awesome.

Also this week, we visited a less active member he is so excited to listen to us and to learn more about the gospel, and english(I´m teaching him english using the gospel, it´s pretty awesome) his name is RAul, and he really likes the church, it´s just a little difficult sometimes because he lives with his dad, and his dad is less active, but doesnt want to go, so it´s tough, but we´re working with him,. and he really wants to serve a mission, he is 20 years old, so we´re working with him.

I also learned what a big difference a new companion can make, me and my new companion are working together, with my other companion we didn´t really work together, we just worked seperately, together haha, but this time we are working together together, and it ismaking a big difference, the people are noticing and they are excited to listen to the word.

Also, this sunday, my companion and I had the oppurtunity to talk in Sacrament meeting, it was pretty great, I really felt the spirt preparing my talk, and some members told me it was great talk, I talked about how we can explain the feelings of the spirt to others who haven´t experienced the spirit before, and also about how sweet the gospel is, like a mango, and that we have to share it, it was a good talk, and things went pretty good.

I´m so excited for conference, and I hope that you guys are also, thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, I am ready to keep working hard, thanks , hasta luego,

Elder Limb

Well, another week has passed by, and this week, was filled with water(three baptisms haha) it was awesome. The names of the people baptized were Juanita, with juanita, it was a miracle, she has so much faith, evern though now her exhusband isn´t going to give her money because she was baprized, she has faith that it will al lwork out, that the Lord will provide a way for her to have money and ot keep paying tithing, she is the older lady in the photo, and she is so excited to be a member of the church.

The younger lady is Karina, her twin sister was baptized a year ago, the first day when I arrived here in the area of REforma, she sent us a message to work with her, she was showing her faith, and so we worked with her, and she said that she has seen so many other missionaries but has never felt the need to be baptized like her sister, but now she does, and she was baptized, by me, it was a privelage and even though the water was cold, the spirit was warm.

The little boy is Josué, his family are all members, and he should have been baptized when he was 8, but his family was inactive, so we reactivated him, and his brother was able to baptize him, he is 9 years old. Also, this week, we saw a member less active,, his name is RAul, he hasn´t gone to church in two years, so we met with him, and after one visit, he decided to come to church, and I could see a change in his appearance, he really is ready to move forward in the gospel, he is 20 years old, and although he has to make some changes, it would be really cool if he could go on a mission.

My new companion is Elder Escamilla, I will meet him tomorrow, my companion that I have now, Elder Escobedo, will actually be going to my old area, Nativitas, so I´m excited for him, this month has gone by so fast, i can´t believe how fast it has gone by. There is a lot of work to do here in REforma, this ward has a lot of less active members, but they are our brothers and sisters, we are all children of God, so we are working with them to help them to return back to the church and participate in the blessings of the Sacrament.

And yeah, I am so excited for General conference in 2 weeks, what a grand oppurtunity and privelage it is to hear a prophet of God speak, thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, I hope everything back home is going well, I love being a missionary, and I have a lot that I have to learn and improve, but this week, is going to be great. Thanks for everything, hasta luego, until next week,

Elder Limb- a.k.a the dominator, me and my new companion are going to dominate this next transfer, look forward to some miracles in the next coming weeks, I´m ready to work, and the field is white and ready to harvest. that´s all.
